Let's practice the activity together. As a class, think of a book or video character we could draw.
On the board or chart paper, let's draw a character.
Let's put a circle or a heart next to their listening eyes, ears, brain, and heart.
Make sure our character has:
Eyes that are ready
Ears that are listening
A brain that is focused
A heart that is caring

Educator: You will pass out supplies for students to draw their listening characters.
Optional: After the lesson, you can collect student drawings and make a book for your classroom library.
